Dr. Shayan Khan completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2018. He also earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Baquai Dental University in Pakistan in 2007. Additionally, he has completed a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) from Benedictine University (2014-2016). Dr. Khan has also worked as a Program Director and Clinical Instructor at Medix/Fortis. He performs comprehensive dental care from restorative procedures such as crowns, to implants and root canals.

In the past 10 months, Dr. Khan has completed more than 30 hours of continuing education; his goal is to attend dental conferences every quarter to stay current with new dental technologies and treatments and continue to earn continuing education credits. Dr. Khan has practiced in the Fairfax area since March 2019.

As a dentist, Dr. Khan believes in quality care, compassion and emphasizing the importance of patient education. His goal is to provide every patient with an environment where they can enjoy peace of mind and freedom from dental anxiety. Over the years, he has gained experience with all aspects of dentistry and is motivated to create a positive and delightful dental experience for patients of all ages.

Apart from clinical dentistry, Dr. Khan is very passionate about taking care of his community and enriching the lives of others through the Dental Public Health initiatives. He is currently in the process of publishing two articles related to patient education and oral health.

Dr. Khan is married. His hobbies include playing golf, cooking and traveling.
