Dr. Sanam Kheirieh earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2005 from Mashhad Dental School in Iran. After working 6 years in general dentistry, Dr. Kheirieh advanced her education in the field of Endodontics. In 2016 she received her specialty degree in Endodontics and a Masters Degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Maryland.
Dr. Kheirieh has a passion for research. She has numerous publications, many of them in the field of Endodontics and have been cited over 500 times. Dr. Kheirieh has traveled the world presenting her research at dental meetings and conventions.
In 2015, Dr. Kheirieh was awarded with “The Sherril Ann Science Endodontic Research Fellowship Award”, for demonstrating exceptional ability in the field of endodontic research. This award was granted for developing “Nanogel-based Scaffold in Endodontics”. Dr. Kheirieh is an active member in various dental societies, including the:
